History Info

Bio:
  Maris was born in Twilight Town seven years before the events of Birth by Sleep. There she lived a quiet life until about the time she was 17 (around the time of Kingdom Hearts), when Twilight Town started getting visitors from strange men in black cloaks...
  These men killed her mother, her only living relative, and left the world and the families in it broken. It was then that Maris decided to set out for revenge, asking around until she found an old man who claimed that he was able to travel the Lanes Between when he was a boy by using an item called a 'Star Shard', which he had stolen from his father. With the promise of bringing these men to a stop, the old man gifted Maris his old trinket and sent her to Radiant Garden, then known as Hollow Bastion.
  She soon found out that the old mechanical castle was occupied by a not-so-pleasant woman and her oddly shaped minions when she began exploring. The old man from her town had told her that in that castle there was an enormous library filled with books containing everything she could possibly need for her mission. Once Maris had finally found the library in the giant -and very confusing castle, she found multiple books on the subject of magic and began to study down in the Waterways where the woman never came. From a very young age, Maris was known to be a gifted Mage, due to her mother being one before her, so she became a quick study and soon had many skills under her belt along with an 'arrowgun' she had read about in a loose piece of paper stashed in one of the books that could concentrate her magic into arrows that was hidden in one of the rooms of the castle.
Maris stayed in Hollow Bastion's Waterways for many months, gaining information and experience from the library and around the castle in general until a boy and his group of oddly formed friends came picking a fight with the woman upstairs for whatever reason. So Maris decided to really set out on her mission in search of the cloaked men. For over a year, she tracked them around the Worlds and even managed to wound a few, but realized that she needed more training...
When Maris decided to come back to Hollow Bastion when she was 18+ (around the events of Kingdom Hearts 2), she came to find that the town was being restored to what it once was and that people again lived there with the woman no longer residing in the castle, thanks to the boy she learned to be named 'Sora' (according to the residences, he was kind of a big deal). Maris found herself mingling in with the crowd that called themselves the "Radiant Garden Restoration Committee" and learned that Sora had in fact wiped out the majority of of 'Organization VIII', the men in cloaks. After finding out that after all this time, after all her training, the men had already been taken down without any help from her, Maris became angry, no longer knowing what to do with her life. After training herself to become so strong, she felt useless now that her mission was over before it could even really begin.
A year and a half later, when she was now 20, she learned about and became a part of a new elite group called the Assassins, who specialize in taking out any high-class Nobodies, Heartless, and anyone trying to rise to power like the Organization or "Ansem" before them. Maris spends most of her time traveling the Worlds, but does have a base that the now Assassin-owned Radiant Garden castle, where she studied and trained all those years ago..

Why are she here?/Goal in life?: She's just following orders. Her goal in life is to rid the world of high-class Nobodies (beings like Org. XIII), and high-class Heartless (beings like "Ansem"). She's recently found out that only the key bearers can snuff out Heartless for good, so she's shifted her focus primarily to Nobodies, leaving the key-bearing Assassins to the Heartless.

_{Ok! So a lot has changed to her! Her name is now just Maris and her nickname is Riss so that she's separated from me more than she was before, along with her birthday and age changed slightly.
I've said this before, but I'm pretty sure I'll actually stick to it this time: THIS IS HER FINAL DESIGN AND STORY.
