_{I've been thinking a lot, and I've kind of wanted to start writing again. But, I personally don't want to put time into something no one is going to read or like because I only write and make art for you guys, so you of course would need to like it/them. There are two stories in particular that I've worked on some and even might have a few chapters done, but like I said, I don't want to work on something that's not going to be enjoyed. So please, read through or at least scan over this entire journal and give me your input on the ideas and don't be afraid to toss me any suggestions. I need to feel like you guys will actually be interested to have any motivation. I know you guys probably don't want to sit here reading all of this, but I would REALLY appreciate it! So, please read and tell me what you think and vote on my poll so I can easily keep up with everyone's choices~

Fantasy/Magical story involving Rissa and Vlad. Temporary (perhaps offical) Title: Royals.

-I've already talked about this story a little, but I didn't explain it very well; not to mention it was the
description box of a picture and I know not everyone reads those. Anyways..

The story takes place in a school called 'Forever Royals School'. It will be a school where magical children
go to learn how to control and use their abilities to their fullest extent. The abilies will consist of everything
under the sun from manipulating elements, to shape shifting, to being able to form things out of thin air. The
school will range from pre-K to college. In some ways, it will be similar to Harry Potter in sole the fact that it
is a magic school that allows you to study your magic skills and learn how to defend yourself with them. Rissa will be a student in her last year of high school and Vlad will be in college and helping out with defense classes as a Teacher's Aid (much to his displeasure). The story will be told in Rissa's point of view or in third person. First person POV is usually my favorite writing style, but third person might be better for this story. There will be every kind of magical creature I know of; which is a pretty big list. (If you know of any less common yet interesting mythical creature/person-thing feel free to tell me so I can include it if I already don't know it!). I haven't worked out all of the details yet, but so far hopefully it seems interesting enough. The problem is, I'm horrible with plot twist so that's why most of my stories fall on their asses. Hopefully I can come up with some solid story fillers to actually get this thing going though. What do you guys think?
Oh, btw. A 'Royal' means you are a magical child with two magical parents. Halfling means (obviously) that you have only one magical parent. And rarely there are the children who are born magical without having magical parents. (Which I haven't figured out a name for yet. Suggestions?)

Mermaid story

- I haven't really ever went into detail about this one, and I've only made one crappy picture showing off the mermaid, but my sister and I had come up with this awesome cluster of story ideas that all connected with each other but could also be their own individual stories. Unfortunatley, my sister seemed to stop caring for the ideas so I kind of lost inspiration. But the gist of the story that was supposed to be mainly mine to write, is about a mermaid who lived deep in the ocean in Titanic and will definitely be told in first person.She was there for 100+ years and was present on the night that the ship had went down. Then, on one of the last trips down to the ship before they let it rest in piece, scientist and people looking for treasures on the ship go down to explore. Usually the mermaid could easily avoid the explorers over the years, but this time she was seen and captured, taken to a lab and all that terrible stuff. Now telling much more would give the entire story away, but maybe telling some of the details about the actual mermaids could make it seem a little more interesting.Plus it'll help me keep up with everything. The mermaids in this story are mean. Only towards men though. The original mermaids got scorned by the mermen and became wicked, killing off every merman of the tribe and declaring that there would no longer be mermen in existence because since merpeople are promiscuous, the mermen would leave their wives to go on shore to sleep with human women. See, mermaids can come onto shore for a short time, but they must come back within 24 hours or else they will loose their immortality. Also, mermaids cannot fall in love with humans or the same will happen and they will also loose their abilities to become mermaids at all. But anyways, back to the backstory. So the mermaids killed all the men and said there would be no more and that to carry on the species, they would just go on land and bed a human male then come back. Most actually kill the men after sleeping with them and if they give birth to a boy, they would either kill it themselves or leave the baby somewhere to eventually die on its own. Like I said, mermaids are mean. But the main mermaid that the story is about isn't like that. She hated that all mermaids hated men and most hated humans in general so once she hit maturity and stopped aging, she left to either go find another group that maybe didn't feel the same way or to be on her own and that's when she found the Titanic... I probably just did a horrible explanation and made it sound awful lol. But hopefully not. I was actually more excited to write about this story when we'd first thought of it, but like I said, I lost inspiration once my sister quit. She might get back into it, but she's so busy with work and stuff that she barely has time to watch tv, much less help me write an entire series of books that involved dragons, unicorns, and mermaids.
